Questions about NDIS personal training

Funding, pricing, sessions and what to expect. If your question isn't here, send an enquiry and I'll answer it when I call.

Can we use NDIS funding?

Yes. Bonnelle Wellness Collective is a registered NDIS provider, so I can work with participants whose plans are self-managed, plan-managed or NDIA-managed, depending on their individual plan and funding. We'll talk through which part of the plan applies on our first call.

How much does it cost?

NDIS sessions are charged in line with the NDIS Price Guide. Programming and travel are charged separately where they apply. I'll go through pricing with you when you enquire.

How long is a session, and how often do we train?

Sessions are usually booked for an hour. Depending on the person and the day, that might be 30, 45 or the full 60 minutes of structured exercise. How often we train depends on each participant's goals and supports.

Who do you work with?

Children, teenagers and adults with disability and a wide range of support needs. There is more detail on the services page.

Where do sessions happen, and what areas do you cover?

At home, in the local community or other suitable places, across Western and North-Western Sydney from Marsden Park. The services page lists the suburbs I usually cover. If you're not sure you're in the service area, get in touch.

What happens after I send an enquiry?

I'll call you back within 24 to 48 hours for a relaxed chat about the participant and what you'd like to achieve. If it sounds like a good fit, we arrange a first meeting with the participant to make sure the approach is right for them.

What are your qualifications and checks?

Certificate III/IV in Fitness, a Bachelor of Dance, a Diploma of Business Leadership and Management, an NDIS Worker Screening Check, a Working With Children Check, First Aid and CPR, and public liability and professional indemnity insurance. I've worked in the fitness industry for 21 years.

Are you an exercise physiologist?

No. I'm a personal trainer working with NDIS participants. If someone needs clinical assessment or treatment, an exercise physiologist, physiotherapist or occupational therapist may be the right fit, and personal training can work alongside them.

Do you train people who aren't on the NDIS?

Yes. Private personal training is available too. Get in touch to talk about your goals and pricing.

Can a support coordinator refer someone?

Yes. Choose "I'm a support coordinator or plan manager" on the enquiry form and I'll come back to you directly.
